PowerPhotonic, designer and manufacturer of freeform, wafer-scale optics, will be exhibiting; presenting a research paper; and chairing a session at the International Congress on Applications of Lasers and Electro-Optics, ICALEO®. The congress is the world’s premier platform for breakthrough laser solutions for business leaders and technologists in laser material interaction. It is held at the Palmer House® Hilton Hotel in Chicago, from 16th to 19th October.
Dr. Stephen Kidd, Head of Sales and Marketing, will chair a technical session and also present a paper; both covering ‘Beam Shaping’. They join other engineers and business leaders on a range of themes, including micro-applications, macro applications, additive manufacturing, frontiers in laser applications, artificial intelligence and battery manufacturing.
Dr. Stephen Kidd, said, “It is an honour for PowerPhotonic to take a leading role at the ICALEO® congress, presenting beam shaping research and chairing an associated session. ICALEO® is not only the world’s leading, international conference on lasers and electro-optics, but it also recognises the potential for lasers to revolutionise many industries, stimulating business collaboration to help solve universal challenges in global warming, power consumption and energy supply.”
ICALEO®, alongside Laser Additive Manufacturing (LAM) and the International Laser Safety Conference (ILSC®), are conferences and exhibitions organised by the Laser Institute of America.
