PowerPhotonic Ltd. certifies that its products comply with the EC Directive 2011/65/EC on the Restriction of Hazardous Substances commonly known as RoHS II.
All optical components manufactured by PowerPhotonic contain less than the permitted levels of hazardous and controlled substances as per the requirements of RoHS. Our optical elements are fabricated from UV-fused silica, which is RoHS compliant. Our optical coatings all use RoHS-compliant materials.
Specifically, in homogenous substances, PowerPhotonic’s optics contain <0.01% of Cadmium, and <0.1% of each Mercury (Hg), lead (Pb), hexavalent chromium (CR+), polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs), and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs).
